Shawn Michaels will go down as the greatest performer of all time in WWE. Shawn Michaels has been part of many classics throughout his career, on a regular basis.

His in-ring ability is second to none. However, Michaels retired too soon. Of course, no one is invincible and age takes its toll. Michaels set a bar too high. There have been so many guys who were called the Next HBK but fell well short.

John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler are just two of them. However, if there is one guy who I would love to see face Michaels, it is Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins is a technical genius. Just like Michaels or Styles, he can put on a great match with anyone.

What makes Michaels top this list is the fact that there are multiple matches he could have and they would all be instant classics. HBK vs Styles, HBK vs Rollins, HBK vs Kevin Owens. The list goes on and on.
