Le Champion may have some formidable foes coming his way.
#4 Adam Page
Ad
Adam Page was in the first-ever AEW World Title match.
Adam Page was within moments of becoming the first man to hold the AEW World Championship. He has wrestled a lot thus far for AEW, and although he's at an even 5-5 overall, he's got 4 singles victories, which is hard to beat. In fact, he's one of four people with 4 singles victories (nobody else has more than 3). He has 4, PAC has 4, Darby Allin has 4, and Champion Chris Jericho has 4. Darby Allin has received his title shot, PAC has a clear path to the title, and Page is a star on the rise.
PAC would win the tiebreaker over Page due to having 2 wins over Page compared to Hangman's 1 win over PAC, but Page's AEW run since their first event in May has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with, and definitely a future AEW World Champion. Will he be the next champion? That's hard to say. The crowd would certainly love it, and we know he can push Jericho to his limit, so if he gets a chance, it would not be unimaginable to see him become champ.
I got my first big break writing for 411Mania back in 2004. I did a small spot in a big weekly piece that was written by one of the site's top writers. I quickly added the duty of being the live recapper for episodes of SmackDown, and in 2005 was given my own weekly column, which I did for a few years. I gave up writing (mostly) to start a family but got back into it, still at 411, a little over 3 years later. For another couple of years, I wrote 2-3 columns per week for the website before finding paid work elsewhere, and eventually wound up at SportsKeeda.
I am also the co-founder of the RBR: Weekly Wrestling Talk podcast, which started in the summer of 2005 and is still going strong today, almost 15 years later. Due to school, work, and family commitments, I left the team in 2011 but still remain a part of the family.
