Just because you have been released from the company does not necessarily spell the end of your association with the company and we've seen several examples of this. The best example of the same is Drew McIntyre, who was hailed as the future of the company when he first made his debut, was released from the company, reinvented himself on the independent circuit, and came back to WWE to defeat Brock Lesnar and become the WWE Champion.

If The Revival choose to return at a future date to the company from elsewhere, they will have a fresh coat of paint on them and let's be honest, also be a lot more over considering that most other promotions don't have as many people competing for limited spots like WWE does, with its sheer wealth of talent.
In fact, once they return from AEW or Impact Wrestling or wherever they may choose to go next, they will probably be a much bigger deal than they are at this point in time.
