#3. Jinder's incredible year

Jinder looked a little different back in 2016

Jinder Mahal is a former WWE Champion and he battles AJ Styles this weekend, in the hopes that he can win back his Championship. Incredibly, because Clash of Champions took place in September last year, Jinder was locked in a feud with Darren Young and the duo was trading wins and losses on Main Event and Superstars.

Somehow over the past year, Jinder has been able to work his way up from not even being able to appear on Monday Night Raw, to be the main champion on the SmackDown brand and now being part of one of the most anticipated rematches set for this weekend.

Jinder's rise to power in WWE has definitely been an interesting one, but to put it into context, Jinder wasn't even considered to be part of the Clash of Champions event last year even though he was part of the Raw brand and now he's in one of the biggest matches on Sunday night. What a difference a year makes.
