The Undertaker is one of the biggest legends in WWE history, having debuted in the company back at Survivor Series in 1990 and has remained a main event level star since.
Undertaker has reached a status level that has never been seen before in WWE. However, even though he is one of the best-known wrestlers in the world, he has managed to keep much of his personal life private.
The Deadman was a star in a time before Social Media, which could be why he was able to keep much of his life private- but, times have definitely changed since then.
Taker doesn't wrestle as much as he once did since he's now 55-years-old and is looking to wind his career down. His appearance this past week on SmackDown Live where he chokeslammed Sami Zayn, however, proves that he is just as popular as he was when he debuted.

These are some interesting facts about the former World Champion that have remained buried for many years and now deserve to reach the surface.
#5. He's scared of cucumbers
He may be one of the most intimidating wrestlers in WWE history, but it appears that The Deadman has some fears of his own since it has been confirmed that he is terrified of cucumbers.
Paul Bearer himself, who once managed The Undertaker prior to Bearer's death back in 2013, confirmed that The Deadman was afraid of the vegetable, saying: “He cannot stand cucumbers … I saw The Undertaker throw up all over a waffle house because there was a cucumber floating in his iced tea." He also confirmed that because of this fear, he used to prank Undertaker all the time by putting cucumber in his hat and gloves.
It is unknown as to why The Deadman is so afraid of cucumbers, but Bearer did reveal that it was something to do with his childhood.
“It was something to do with when he was a kid … I guess his mother made him eat them when he didn’t want them, or something. He just hates cucumbers.”
#4. Undertaker seemingly gave Kane an interesting statistic
WrestleMania 35 was the first 'Mania in nearly twenty years that The Undertaker didn't show up and take another soul to add to his list. There were rumors that he would appear as part of the show and was even in the same city, but The Deadman didn't appear until the following night on Raw, which means that he was unable to equal a WrestleMania record held by someone close to him.
Kane - Taker's storyline brother/rival/partner - holds the record for the most consecutive matches at WrestleMania with 19. The Undertaker's victory over John Cena as part of last year's show means that he was on 18, but failing to appear this year means that Kane now keeps his record, which is a pretty impressive one.
While The Undertaker still has the best record at WrestleMania - since he was undefeated for 20 matches on the grandest stage of them all - Kane's record may never be broken since The Big Red Machine has had the same level of longevity as his "brother".
Kane has now left the business to pursue a career in politics as the Mayor of Knox County in Tennesse and, thanks to The Deadman, he takes an impressive stat with him.
#3. The streak began on his birthday
The best-known fact about The Undertaker is definitely that he once had an undefeated streak at WrestleMania - the longest of any superstar in history. While many fans can name all of the opponents that Undertaker has defeated as part of this streak, there is one fact that not many fans are aware of.
Undertaker first appeared at WrestleMania back in 1991 when he took on Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka to notch up his first victory of many at the biggest show of the year. The streak first began on March 24th, 1991 - which just so happened to be The Deadman's 26th birthday.
It is believed that Undertaker was given the win because it was his birthday and it was then the beginning of the longest undefeated streak in history. Another fact that many fans forget is that The Undertaker wasn't part of every WrestleMania between WrestleMania VII and WrestleMania 34. In fact, he missed two WrestleMania's during this period because of storylines at that time.
The Deadman missed WrestleMania in 1994 following an attack at the hands of Yokozuna at The Royal Rumble and didn't return until SummerSlam later that year. He was sidelined throughout 2000 after he tore a pectoral muscle in the fall of 1999 which kept him out of action until May 2000, when he returned as The American Badass.
#2. Undertaker is a successful businessman
The Undertaker may not be a focal point of WWE TV anymore since he's reached a point in his career where he's able to come and go as he pleases. But, while his on-screen brother Kane has made a name for himself in the political world, The Undertaker has decided to step into real estate investment instead.
A few years ago, Taker and his business partner Scott Everhart invested in a $2.7 million construction in Loveland, Colorado, called "The Calahart" which is a combination of both men's last names. Also, The Deadman and his ex-wife Sara also established The Zeus Compton Calaway Save the Animals fund which helps to pay for life-saving treatment for large breeds of dogs.
Speaking of politics, the former World Champion has also made considerably large donations to both politically conservative causes and Republican candidates and has publicly supported many of these candidates by wearing clothing related to certain candidates.
Outside of WWE, it appears that The Undertaker likes to keep himself busy, which could be why he only returns to the ring a handful of times each year.
#1. Undertaker allegedly once tried to kidnap Jenna Jameson
The Undertaker was interestingly the subject of some wild accusations by adult film actress Jenna Jameson as part of her 2004 best selling book. Jameson stated that The Deadman was once a frequent visitor to a tattoo parlor where she worked when she was just 16-years-old.
The Deadman reportedly struck up an unlikely friendship with the future adult star to the point where he would begin to flirt with her and even step in to warn away any men who were thinking of flirting with the youngster themselves.
Jameson even detailed a particular time in her book when The Deadman threatened to beat up her boyfriend and kidnap her, which was when she decided that it was time for the two stars to sever ties. Jameson stated that The Deadman told her: “I’m going to kick your boyfriend’s a** and take you away with me.”
She recalled “I knew he was serious. I ran upstairs and told Jordan we had to leave because this guy was going to beat the fuck out of him and kidnap me. So I never saw him again.”
