The World Heavyweight Championship is no longer a Championship in WWE since it was unified with the WWE Championship back in 2013. After the brand split, the company opted to revert back to the WWE Championship and create a new title for Raw.

Even though the Championship has been on the line a number of times over the past seven Hell in a Cell pay-per-views, the championship has only ever changed hands once.

At the inaugural Hell in a Cell event back in 2009, The Undertaker was able to dethrone CM Punk as Champion in the opening contest, something that hasn't been repeated since when either the World Heavyweight Championship or Universal Championship has been on the line.
