Could The Kingslayer form a brand new faction on RAW?
#2 Rey Mysterio becomes the next United States Champion

The US Championship picture could do with a complete makeover as well!
Speaking of titles that have lost their sheen in recent times, the US Championship comes to mind first. Shinsuke Nakamura may be the champion on paper, but he has no opponents with whom to tear it up and put on some absolute clinics, like we know he can. Until Rey Mysterio stepped into SmackDown Live, that is.

I would really like it if Mysterio were to become the next United States Champion. Not only could this make the title more prestigious and get more people talking, but he could also potentially have great feuds with Samoa Joe and Randy Orton. He could single-handedly make the mid-card on SmacKDown Live exciting to watch once more.

There is no doubt that Mysterio can still go at his age. Whether or not his opponents can keep up is the real question.
