Jeff Jarrett
By late 1999, Chyna had become one of the most popular acts of the Attitude Era, courtesy her stint with D-Generation X. WWE finally made the call to make her Intercontinental Champion, and she kicked off a feud with Jeff Jarrett. At the time, Jarrett's contract was about to get expired, and he was planning to jump ship to WCW. At Unforgiven 1999, Chyna failed to win the Intercontinental title from Jarrett. She would get another opportunity soon after.
At WWE No Mercy 1999, Jarrett defended the title against Chyna again, in what was his last WWE bout. Jarrett held Vince McMahon for a large amount of money on this night and agreed to lose to Chyna when Vince fulfilled his demands. The ending to the match saw Chyna hitting Jarrett with a guitar, and pinning him to win the coveted Intercontinental title belt. With this victory, Chyna became the first woman in the history of WWE to win the belt. She went on to feud with Chris Jericho and eventually lost the belt to him.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
