The First Blood match was a staple of WWE's Attitude Era and continued through the Ruthless Aggression era where nine such matches took place, the last one featuring John Cena and JBL during the 2008 One Night Stand pay-per-view.

The objective is for the Superstar to make his opponent bleed. But now that the WWE programming is currently rated TV-PG as well as marketing to children, it's safe to say that we'll never see this type of match in the WWE again.
