When fans have spoken about matches Rey Mysterio could have when returning to WWE, this one has actually been one of the most discussed among them.
Andrade 'Cien' Almas has quickly become one of the best wrestlers in all of WWE. During his time as a babyface in NXT, it almost seemed like he would forever remain as someone to put newer talent over. But when Zelina Vega was added as his manager, his whole career was turned around and the now former NXT Champion has already wrestled arguably the best match of the year with Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia and has wrestled several impressive matches on SmackDown.
Since his arrival, Almas has often been compared to Alberto Del Rio in almost every way, and this started up chatter among fans that he would have great matches with Rey Mysterio, as Del Rio once had. Personally, I don't find Cien and Del Rio that similar but I do think, looking at his and Mysterio's styles in the ring, that they can indeed have an excellent series of matches.
