#4 The Boss faces the EST of WWE at WrestleMania 37
Bianca Belair chose Sasha Banks as her WrestleMania 37 opponent after winning the 2021 Royal Rumble. Belair had an impressive showing at last year's Royal Rumble and did the same again from the third slot this year.
It's refreshing for someone other than the Four Horsewomen of NXT to enter the spotlight at the Show of Shows. Charlotte Flair, Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch have ruled over the division for the last three years. Outside of Asuka and Alexa Bliss, the four women above have all been both RAW and SmackDown Women's Champs.
Belair could buck that trend and she certainly wants to put on a show in her match at WrestleMania 37. She's not afraid of the big stage and neither is the Boss. Banks has been in several high-profile matches at WrestleManias and her character confidently reflects that.
It was announced earlier on Friday that this match will headline Night 1 of WrestleMania 37. With that main-event slot, both women will try even harder to steal the show.
Winners of the Royal Rumble matches are supposed to main event WrestleMania. Since it's now a two-night event, that should translate into each winner getting that chance. Thus, Banks and Belair will now have that opportunity.
Banks and Belair have done a great job of selling their feud and Rumble winners earn the right to the main event. Both women are technically sound and exciting in-ring performers. It could be a changing of the guard in the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania 37.
With Bank's heel character, she'll likely have a grandiose entrance. The fact that both competitors are also women of color also means that the pressure to perform is on Champion and challenger.
The Boss and the EST of WWE will utilize every tool in their kits at WrestleMania 37. There's a reason they are both fighting over a title at the Show of Shows and it will come out to close Night 1 of WrestleMania 37.
