#1 Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins is a personal showdown at WrestleMania 37
At WrestleMania 37, Seth Rollins looks to spoil Cesaro's first big singles showcase at the Show of Shows. Rollins has tweaked his Savior character to be somewhat delusional. While it's more of the same rhetoric, it has at least added a comedic element to his presentation.
Where Rollins hasn't been having fun is when Cesaro shows up. The Swiss Superman has swung Rollins around a few times. The last straw was a smear campaign ad against Cesaro on the go-home edition of SmackDown.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
During the buildup of this WrestleMania 37 match, Rollins acted like the cocky Superstar who has done it all in WWE. He has won every major title in his career, main-evented a WrestleMania, and also won a Royal Rumble.
While just as talented, Cesaro hasn't received nearly as many opportunities in WWE as Rollins has. That's why this match means so much more to the Swiss Superman. Cesaro is certainly enjoying the chance for his first big singles at WrestleMania 37 and cut a heartfelt promo a few months ago.
Both men are fantastic in the ring. Cesaro always makes his opponents look better and always gives it his best. Rollins is a well-rounded performer as a heel or a face. Each man is technically sound.
The whole story that is being told is also something that will make this match even more special. The two men have known each other for a decade and shreds of truth have been displayed in the promos leading up to WrestleMania 37.
Cesaro hasn't had the chance to main event a show like WrestleMania because he's been consistently relied upon to anchor the mid-card and tag divisions. It's not that he isn't capable of main-eventing or carrying a brand. Rather, he just hasn't been given the amount of chances to do so that Rollins has had.
That motivation means that Cesaro will bring his ultimate best at WrestleMania 37 and he and Rollins could steal the show.
