Mickie and Bayley have faced on Raw but never in singles action

Since returning to WWE Mickie James has been used mostly as a wrestler to help other female stars to get over. But James' previous run in WWE and in TNA suggests that she is capable of much more than simply being a steady hand.

Bayley, on the other hand, has flirted with turning heel in recent weeks but certainly has a better long-term future as a babyface. Pitting Bayley against Mickie at Evolution could see Bayley in a more heelish role and with James as the crowd favorite.

Alternatively, James is no stranger herself to playing the role of the villain and could better fulfil this role against the crowd favorite Bayley.

Both dynamics fit well for this match to make sense, but more than that, this match has the possibility to be a dream match such is the in-ring skills of both and their ability to tell a compelling story.
