Asuka started her run in WWE with a 914-day undefeated streak before eventually losing to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania in less than auspicious fashion. Since then Asuka has not fully recovered from this setback and has been unsuccessful in her bid to win the title after a couple of title bids against SmackDown women's champion Carmella.

Natalya meanwhile has perhaps not hit the heights on Raw many would have expected, considering her tremendous in-ring ability. Nattie and Asuka could potentially face off in a series of matches which could put both back on the map of the women's scene.

Although currently on separate brands, Asuka and Natalya is a match that has a lot of potential. It could be the match that could help elevate Asuka back to her dominant streak that she enjoyed prior to WrestleMania. Alternatively, it could be the boost Natalya needs to put herself in the frame for the Raw women's title.

With a lot of wrestling between now and WWE Evolution to come, this could potentially be a title match, but even if it wasn't this has the dream match potential for any card of WWE's calendar.
