#1 Daniel Bryan vs The Miz
Daniel Bryan hasn't been involved in any big storyline since his return to in-ring action. He was booked in a boring feud against Big Cass and then he moved onto a match with The Bludgeon Brothers. These are all short-term feuds. What Bryan needs is a great storyline which can get him back onto the top of the WWE once again.

On the other hand, The Miz hasn't been doing anything productive either since moving to Smackdown Live. He participated the Money in the Bank ladder match but failed, eventually.
This match has the potential to steal the show at SummerSlam and WWE would make a big mistake if these two don't face each other at the biggest party of the summer. Furthermore, a feud between Bryan and Miz would surely boost up the ratings.
Also, the rumours suggest that Daniel Bryan has not signed a new deal with the WWE. Summerslam could very well be his last PPV. This is a perfect opportunity for the WWE to put these two men against each other and settle their feud once and for all.
