Woken Matt Hardy vs. The Demon Finn Balor seems like a match made in heaven, as the two characters could provide some very eccentric storytelling which could lead up to a match at The Hardy Compound.

Most recently, Finn Balor lost a quick match to The Fiend at WWE SummerSlam, and the match loss was done as a way to write Balor off TV for a couple of months while he takes a much-needed vacation from WWE and the road.

When Balor returns, it might be a great idea to have him return as The Demon in a bizarre feud with Matt Hardy as his Woken or Broken persona.

Matches such as The Final Deletion, which took place in TNA, and The Ultimate Deletion, which took place in WWE, always carried a very creepy vibe, and the creepiness of the match type at The Hardy Compound could be a great showcase for the creepiness of the Demon Finn Balor persona.

Finn Balor should be poised to make an impact upon returning to WWE TV, and the return alongside Matt Hardy could give SmackDown Live a big roster boost heading into SmackDown's move to FOX Sports.
