The WWE Universe had a lot of questions on their mind after Braun Strowman defeated Bray Wyatt to retain his Universal Title at Money in the Bank, but the company stayed mum for weeks about the loss. Wyatt even went on a three-week hiatus from television, which strengthens concerns about the future of the character.

Interestingly enough, The Fiend returned to WWE on the June 19th episode of SmackDown and discussed how he took the time off to learn new things. While some fans thought that was just an offhand comment, he followed it up by claiming that one of the things he learned was how to raise the dead.

Strowman interrupted Wyatt's Firefly Funhouse episode and claimed that he wasn't going to play his games anymore, but that all changed in an instant. In fact, when Wyatt revealed that he had revived his former cult member persona and was intending to use that to torment Strowman, it became clear that WWE wasn't done with these two yet.
