On the August 28, 2017 edition of Monday Night RAW, the WWE Raw Women's Championship was on the line. Sasha Banks was defending the championship against Alexa Bliss. Bliss defeated Banks to regain the title she had lost just eight days previous.

It was following the match that business picked up. Nia Jax, who had a somewhat hot and cold relationship with Alexa, came out to celebrate. She first inflicted more damage on Banks by performing a squash on her in the corner of the ring.

Bliss got on the top rope to celebrate, before Nia put her on her shoulders to parade around the ring.

Moments later, Jax fell back and turned on little Miss Bliss, thus immediately ending their friendship. It stunned the WWE Universe who cheered her actions, but it certainly had been brewing for a while.

The story between the two continued all the way up to until WrestleMania 34, where Nia Jax won her first-ever women's championship in WWE. It was a memorable storyline from WWE that year that stole the headlines on RAW.
