If you’ve watched 205 Live in the past, you’d know that Buddy Murphy is an incredible performer.
The former Cruiserweight Champion was drafted to SmackDown Live but did not get many opportunities on the main roster until he became a part of the Roman Reigns mystery attacker storyline.
After getting a match at the SummerSlam pre-show against Apollo Crews, Murphy got the biggest match of his life against Roman Reigns on SmackDown.
However, this week proved to be even better for the Australian born superstar, as he got a match against Daniel Bryan. After the spectacular match, Murphy was able to defeat the former WWE Champion, leaving a huge imprint on SmackDown Live.
Whether the win will result in a push for the superstar or not remains to be seen, however, it has ensured that the WWE Universe knows why he is SmackDown’s “Best Kept Secret".
