"Macho Man" Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth's relationship, from the beginning to its tragic end, is one of the most engrossing stories in professional wrestling. Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth split after the Mega Powers exploded at WrestleMania V. Then, Savage adopted the moniker "The Macho King" when he won the King of the Ring Tournament. He brought in Sherri Martel as his new valet.

"Macho Madness" was at an all-time high, and it lasted all the way to WrestleMania VII. There, Randy Savage was forced into retirement by The Ultimate Warrior. "Macho Man" proposed to Miss Elizabeth, and she replied with an emphatic "Oh Yeah!" At WWE SummerSlam 1991, Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth got married. Unlike 99% of all wrestling weddings, this one had a happy ending.
