It is interesting that a lot of Jericho’s focus has been on his involvement in the WWE Universal title. It seems an afterthought that he is involved in the Rumble match himself. With his popularity and constant involvement in the main event scene, it would seem he would be a threat to eliminate any of the top stars and win the Rumble match.

The other reason Jericho is a favourite to eliminate Goldberg is their long and storied history together. Goldberg personally squashed Jericho’s push in WCW. When Goldberg had his first run in WWE, Jericho was on the losing end of their feud.
