Mustafa Ali has been tremendous for the entirety of his WWE run, but since moving to Smackdown Live from 205 Live, he's definitely taken it up another notch. If not for an unfortunate injury suffered a month ago, he'd probably be in a big time Championship match at WrestleMania, but with #KofiMania running wild, The Heart and Soul will be relegated to the pre-show.

Ali is arguably the most likeable performer in all of the WWE, and if he can't get his shot at the title right now, winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is a good way to keep his momentum going.

Sure, a win hasn't done much for the likes of Cesaro, Mojo Rawley or Matt Hardy, but Mustafa Ali is clearly a star on the rise, so WWE could use his victory to give him momentum, as well as finally make this annual pre-show Battle Royal actually mean something.
