#3 Aleister Black

Aleister Black has been on the main roster for only a year but has finally been pushed like a serious title contender. While he did start out in his dark room backstage pleading with someone to pick a fight with him, that has stopped. Instead, he does his talking in the ring. Black has amassed wins over Rowan and Bobby Lashley.
Those might not be wins that lead right to a title shot, but they are wins over impressive physical opponents.
With McIntyre the face Champion of RAW, it's unlikely that the Dutch Destroyer would win. His recent path of success, however, would suggest that he's in line for an opportunity like this. He was not included in last year's match while his tag team partner for a short run, Ricochet, was.
There desperately needs to be a focus on the current crop of stars that will carry the company for the next 10 years. Black is a part of that crop of stars. They had the chance to have someone fresh and new win last year's match but we all remember how that ended. If something like that happens again, it will be a step backward. If someone like Black does indeed secure the briefcase, however, it will be a sign that the future is bright.
