#1 Big E

This could easily be Kofi Kingston but it's time for Big E to get a serious singles push atop SmackDown. His buddy already had that push and it's time for the man with the largest pecs in the WWE to get his shot this year.
Ladder matches like Money in the Bank work the best with all sizes of stars. With Strowman and The Fiend not likely to compete in the match, Big E is the next in line when it comes to powerful stars on Friday nights. Some people would consider Sheamus or Cesaro for the strongman role but Sheamus is past being a main-event threat and Cesaro is traditionally used to put others over.
Is this man the funniest man in wrestling?
Big E has routinely performed in every tag team match with The New Day. He's also sprung into singles action when needed, like when he opened a gauntlet match against Bryan a few years ago. The big man of The New Day has also participated in ladder matches before and he's been included in the upcoming one on the next episode of SmackDown.
Instead of always being considered a tag team specialist, it's time for another member of the talented New Day to get a shot at singles glory.
