#2 Zack Ryder
The second of two Hype Bros on this list, Zack Ryder seemed destined to fulfill his potential following WrestleMania 32. Unfortunately, a combination of bad booking and a devastating knee injury left Zack on the outside looking in heading into Mania, meaning that he had to start all over again.
Ryder had once again started up his own YouTube series, which is what got him over in the first place back in 2011. He’s got the look, he’s got the experience, and he certainly has the fan support necessary to succeed – so why not take a risk? Take a look at his merchandise sales, and try telling us that he doesn’t deserve it. While it does not seem likely at this point, he could easily pull it off with the skills that he has.
#3 Big E
All of the critics out there who said Big E had no personality: kindly come out of your holes and admit you were wrong. Since becoming a part of New Day, the former NXT Champion has shone through as the group’s core member, which is a fact that a lot of people will refuse to admit. Still, it’s the truth, and it has been for a long time now.
During his time as Intercontinental Champion things didn’t quite go as WWE had planned, but that’s because Langston wasn’t really given a platform to succeed. Now, having established himself in every department necessary, E can transform into the main eventer we all know that he can be. Just put some trust in the guy, and with Kofi and Xavier's support, he could be the next big thing.
#4 Cesaro
We feel a bit like a broken record here, because Cesaro has been a potential main eventer for well over six years now. Unfortunately, he continues to linger in the mid card, and a part of the WWE Universe is starting to believe that it’s not just WWE’s fault. Still, the whole premise of “doing a Jinder” is being given the title without much of a build, right?
That would be the kind of thing that would work perfectly for Cesaro, especially if they used something like the MITB ladder match or the Batista title win from a few years back (Vince essentially handing him the title). We aren’t sure whether it would work better for him under a heel gimmick or a babyface, which is one of the big problems that faces the Swiss Superman.
However, if he can continue and win the title, he could easily become one of the foremost Superstars in WWE.
