Over the early weeks of the year, Cesaro faced Ridge Holland in various configurations. Whether in singles contests or tag team bouts, there was no love lost between the two competitors.
Should the company have decided to end this rivalry with an epic singles match, the Grandest Stage of Them All could have been the setting for a final showdown. Also, since they have faced each other multiple times, this match could have been sweetened with a stipulation such as No Holds Barred.

#3: Cesaro and Ricochet could have challenged the Usos for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 38

Before Cesaro's exit, he and Ricochet were a tag team on SmackDown. The blue brand's Tag Team Championship match for the Showcase of Immortals had not yet been set. Since WWE usually books multi-team matches at the event, there is a good chance that the duo would have been part of the match.
This would have most likely been a fast-paced, high-octane affair, and one of the better matches on the night. Being the tag-team specialist he is, the Superman would have been one of the highlights of the contest.

A big fan of John Cena, Methodius admires the 16-time WWE World Champion’s ability to recover from setbacks without compromising on his ethics. If given the chance to book a storyline in WWE, Methodius would like to produce Cena’s retirement program. He would have The Cenation Leader turn into a mega heel and align with Austin Theory and MJF. Methodius would book the wrestling legend to win his 17th World Championship and the Intercontinental Title before Friedman and Theory betray him.
When not producing intriguing features on pro wrestling, Methodius loves to watch football (soccer) and a wide range of movies. A good goalkeeping display speaks to his soul.
