#2: Cesaro and Ricochet's tag team run could have imploded into a WrestleMania feud
Cesaro and Ricochet did not find much success as a tag team. A string of losses in the weeks before his exit weakened their momentum in the division, effectively ruling them out of the title picture.
This had the potential to bring about a heel turn by either member, leading to a feud culminating at the biggest premium live event of the year.
It's extremely difficult to imagine a scenario where a match between these two supreme talents would not have been a Match of The Night contender.
#1: Cesaro could have been the man to pick up Edge's WrestleMania gauntlet
On the final RAW before Cesaro's sudden exit from WWE, Edge cut a fierce promo challenging any member of the roster to step up and face him at WrestleMania 38. The Rated-R Superstar claimed that he would make his opponent "Live Forever," promising to give any challenger the match of a lifetime.
The Swiss Superman was one of the superstars without an opponent for the two-night extravaganza. With rumors floating around that AJ Styles (most fans' dream opponent for The Ultimate Opportunist at the show) could face Shawn Michaels, the 41-year old could have stepped in and taken the challenge on.
