The Fiend is one of the most compelling characters that has been created by WWE in quite some time, and I have a feeling that it is going to be the winner of the Royal Rumble that eventually dethrones the reigning and defending Universal Champion. Whether it is Roman Reigns or Keith Lee as is being speculated remains to be seen, but for Daniel Bryan to defeat The Fiend ahead of WrestleMania does not make any sense.
I know that Daniel Bryan is absolutely red-hot at the moment and that the 'Yes!' movement is back once again but even that isn't enough for him to stall the momentum of The Fiend, in my opinion at least. For Vince McMahon to book a title change at this point in time would just take away a lot of what made the Fiend character special.

Bear in mind that he's a man who kicked out of multiple Curb Stomps from Seth Rollins during their feud. And for Daniel Bryan to lose the feud may not necessarily hurt him too much.
