Becky Lynch is the most over Superstar in WWE at the moment, male or female, and for her to drop the Championship to Asuka wouldn't be ideal. I like the story of Asuka being the one mountain that she is unable to climb, but for Becky Lynch to lose to Asuka at this point just doesn't make sense. I doubt that Vince McMahon would have Asuka beat his biggest star either, at this point, and will probably want Lynch to carry her title all the way to WrestleMania.

As interesting as the build to Asuka vs. Becky Lynch has been, it is very clear that Becky Lynch is coming out at the losing end of the feud time and time again because it's set up to make Asuka seem like a threat when she's not. Becky Lynch will be challenged by the winner of the Royal Rumble, which could be either Shayna Baszler or even Nia Jax.

Asuka has lost a lot of her steam, and I doubt she's in the same position that she used to be in.
