#2 Do not race Corbin back into the WWE or Universal title picture

As mentioned, the winner of the WWE King of the Ring tournament is usually catapulted to the top of his brand, and in line for a top title match, but given the past few months of WWE TV storylines, it makes more sense for WWE to delay Baron Corbin's first title shot.
With WWE SmackDown Live moving to FOX Sports in October, and the roster draft set to take place on October 11th, Baron Corbin's home brand will be made clear in the coming weeks, and until that happens, Corbin should work a long feud with someone like Chad Gable.
Throughout the summer, Baron Corbin was pushed as one of the top contenders to Seth Rollins' Universal title, and the feud culminated in Corbin receiving a Universal title shot in the form of a tag team match at Extreme Rules in which Becky Lynch's WWE Raw Women's title was also on the line.
With the memory of the Rollins, Corbin, Lynch and Lacey Evans feud still relatively fresh, it's a good idea to keep Baron Corbin away from the WWE or Universal titles until the company can rebuild him as a major title contender who needs a title shot.
