#2. Bobby Lashley winning

WON had reported that Bobby Lashley suffered an arm injury recently. The assumption following that would be that Rusev would win, ending the storyline and writing Lashley off TV till he recovers.
They could have renewed the feud from there, but from the look of things, Lashley will be working through the injury (as many superstars do) to continue this storyline. Bobby Lashley winning served the objective of extending this rivalry, but was it necessary to do so?
Is this man the funniest man in wrestling?
The purpose of the storyline is to get Rusev over and while we understand that it's eventually going to happen, it was probably a better decision to end the feud at TLC 2019. It hasn't been a popular one, though it has admittedly garnered a lot of interest. Regardless, it hasn't gotten a very positive reception.
WWE made a mistake by having Lashley go over in the match. The tables stipulation was one to protect Rusev from being pinned and he'll get his comeuppance eventually, but it should have been at TLC.
