Randy Orton is a former 14-time WWE Champion and could have become a 15-time Champion following his stint inside the Elimination Chamber last night. The Viper was seen as one of the favorites, but there was always the idea that The Fiend could make his return and cost him the match.
There was even a point where Omos pulled the plastic from AJ Styles' Elimination Chamber pod which opened up a hole, in order for The Fiend to sneak in. But this wasn't the plan.

Instead, Randy Orton was the first man who was eliminated from the match after Kofi Kingston was able to roll him up. The Viper obviously wasn't happy about this decision either, since he went on to like a Tweet that referred to this booking as "stupid."
Hopefully, all will become clear tonight on WWE RAW, but Randy Orton is reportedly set to face The Fiend in 47 days at WrestleMania. Now, he has lost all of his momentum and Bray Wyatt is nowhere to be seen.
