Kevin Owens steps into the 2021 Royal Rumble pay-per-view as the #1 Contender for Roman Reigns' Universal Championship. He's come up short in the past, but he hopes for a different outcome when he goes up against the 'Head of the Table'.
This is not a slight against Kevin Owens, who's played his part brilliantly thus far and has been a fantastic challenger for Roman Reigns, but the 'Tribal Chief' has far too much momentum at this point in time. The result at the 2021 Royal Rumble pay-per-view should be the same as it's been on other occasions, with Roman Reigns going over.

But again, Kevin Owens should not lose clean, with Jey Uso and possibly Apollo Crews interfering in the match to make Owens look strong, even in defeat. Kevin Owens should definitely be at the top of the food chain someday again, but not at the moment for sure.
