WWE Fastlane 2021 will feature the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defending their titles against SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks and the 2021 women's Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair. Now, WWE has officially announced that Bianca Belair will be challenging Sasha Banks for her title at WrestleMania 37.

There's something about WWE having the champions and challengers team-up before their massive showdown, and we've seen that on numerous occasions previously. However, one has to wonder what impact it could have on WrestleMania if Belair and Banks end up becoming the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions at WWE Fastlane 2021 this Sunday.

With WrestleMania 37 being two nights, every champion will surely defend their titles. Banks and Belair winning the women's tag team titles at Fastlane would lead to them first defending their titles against a team and then facing each other for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

There are many other deserving teams who could benefit a lot more from winning the women's tag team titles. Not to forget that losing the titles at Fastlane could badly affect the WrestleMania status of Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. WWE should not make the mistake of letting Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair become the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions at WWE Fastlane 2021.
