#2 Styles vs Joe in the mid-card again

Why is WWE doing this with their biggest creation? I mean, when was the last time AJ Styles actually defended the WWE title on a pay per view during the last hour of the show?
While its placing at SummerSlam was a smart choice, considering how the card was presented overall, it wasn't even SmackDown's main event at Hell in a Cell, even as the rivalry is probably the best one we have seen for the WWE title in years.
Both Champion AJ Styles and challenger Samoa Joe are proven in-ring legends, and produced two great matches at SummerSlam and Hell in a Cell, with the SummerSlam match being one of the best of the year. With their encounter at Super Show-Down rumoured to be the last of this rivalry, it deserves a high place on the card at the show.
It is not about getting the chance to close the show at any cost, but an opportunity to wrestle in the penultimate slot on 20+ minutes, especially when you consider that it is the sole world title match on show. That would be enough to acknowledge the effort these two have put on the program over the past 2 months.
