Of all the young men in the WWE roster performing at the highest level, Ricochet is probably the most promising of them all. He can do things in the ring that nobody else in the company can, but I don't know if he's ready to be the WWE Champion just yet.
Ricochet is an exemplary performer who can actually have a good showing against The Beast Incarnate, and in fact, I hope that he does not get squashed in the manner that Kofi Kingston did. But for him to become the WWE Champion would ruin the dream match at WrestleMania 36 between Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre which is not a good thing.
With all due respect to Drew McIntyre and Ricochet, a match between the two of them would not necessarily main-event RAW, much less WrestleMania. And this is why Brock Lesnar needs to carry the title to the grandest show of the company's calendar year.
However, I am certain that Ricochet will do fantastic things in the wrestling business.
