#2: The Usos were not supposed to win their Tag Team Elimination match
As everyone witnessed, The Usos won the Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match for SmackDown Live during the Preshow.
However, we learned later on that this particular win was not officially counted as part of the overall scorecard for RAW vs. SmackDown Live throughout the night.
Technically, the final score should have been 6-1. But due to some communication mishap, the wrong team won this particular bout, and as a result, the official score ended up being 6-0, with RAW scoring a clean sweep over SmackDown Live.
Dave Meltzer discussed this on a recent episode of The Wrestling Observer, where he pointed out the following:
“So here’s the deal, okay? The storyline was supposed to be a clean-sweep for Raw and somewhere in the communications process, don’t ask me why, SmackDown won that tag match so they had to tell everyone that it didn’t count. That was the reason. One hand forgot what the other was doing. Vince wanted a clean-sweep and I don’t know how this happens, so yeah, it didn’t count," he said via Ringside News
