Gene Snitsky became one of WWE's most controversial characters when his main roster debut resulted in Lita miscarrying her unborn baby.
Snitsky was working as a jobber for a match against Kane when he hit The Big Red Machine with a chair, causing him to fall onto Lita. This was Snitsky's big break and led to his “It wasn’t my fault" catchphrase becoming famous.

After more than four years in WWE, Snitsky requested his release and it was granted following a meeting with Vince McMahon.
After spending some time on the independent circuit and working on a few low-budget movies, Snitsky retired from wrestling in 2018. According to a recent report by Ring The Damn Bell, the former WWE Superstar is now focused on running his own Outdoor and Sporting Goods Store called Priority One Surplus. Snitsky and his wife reportedly currently reside in a suburb of Pennsylvania.
