Dawn Marie was part of WWE's Women's Division at a time when the women were still known as Divas. Marie was part of some interesting storylines alongside Torrie Wilson and her real-life father before she was released from the company in 2005.
Marie later sued WWE after she claimed that the company released her whilst she was pregnant with her first child and it had caused mental distress. The case was reportedly settled in 2007.

Marie has since gone on to welcome a son called Matthew and a daughter called Katelyn. The former WWE Superstar has since taken acting lessons with the intention of becoming an actress when her wrestling career came to an end.

Instead, it is reported that Marie has since become a nurse. Marie was recently one of the country's key workers throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and noted on her Twitter account that she had contracted the virus as a result. Marie's most recent update following her positive test was that she was starting to feel much better.
