In the weeks that followed their underwhelming WWE Title match from SummerSlam, Randy Orton aligned himself with The Revival and began to target Kofi Kingston and the rest of The New Day while spreading the message that Kingston was “stupid” and that his actions had caused his family to lose faith in him.

Perhaps the reason why a vast majority of people are awaiting this contest is because of the prestigious title carried by the WWE Champion in a night where every title is on the line.

Even though Kofi hasn't been able to connect with mainstream audiences as well as people had thought, his run as the current WWE Champion has been decent, to say the least.

But make no mistake - Randy Orton might pull off a victory here.

After all, this decade-old rivalry recreated a nostalgic feeling on the SmackDown Live episode emanating from Madison Square Garden recently, and as we all know - The Viper won't go down easily without a fight.
