Sami Zayn has been away from our screens for nearly a year

Sami Zayn has been off WWE television for some time now, despite announcing that he was going to be returning to the company back at the end of last year.

Zayn entering this match as a surprise entrant would be a nice way to get the fans excited early on in the night, and it would also help provide Braun Strowman with some legitimate competition for the encounter. Given the history between the two men, it could also help get the audience involved in the encounter as well.

There is also the prospect, however unlikely it may be, of having Zayn return as El Generico for the encounter.

Moreover, it's going to be interesting to see how Sami Zayn would be handled if he won. The Battle Royal winners definitely don't have a history of getting pushed.
