#1 Shinsuke Nakamura
When Shinsuke Nakamura made his debut on the main roster after Wrestlemania 33, nobody could have imagined Nakamura would be involved in a tag team with Rusev. The enthralling reception of the crowd to his debut and his heroics in the NXT almost assured people that he was destined for enormous success on the main roster.
However, as things turned out to be, the transition from NXT to the main roster was horrible for Nakamura. For the first time, the creatives could not be blamed for Nakamura's poor run on the main roster. Sure, his loss to Jinder Mahal one two consecutive PPVs were disappointing but Nakamura has failed to lit up the ring with his performances in the ring.
Nakamura hasn't had one memorable match since joining the main roster. This is highly disappointing since he wrestled AJ Styles for more than 20 minutes at the grandest stage of them all, Wrestlemania. Although the heel turn was indeed one of the best things to happen to the King of Strong Style, his continuous subpar matches have been a big let down.
