Samoa Joe is a person who is a wrestling veteran and has a mastery of submission moves. He is both strong and athletic, which has garnered the attention of WWE towards him. WWE has protected him in the best way possible and is the only person who hasn't submitted or got pinned clean. If you want an answer to the controversial ending we saw at Hell in a Cell, the answer to that is WWE doesn't want Samoa Joe to lose clean and that's why Styles tapped out.
WWE might very well put the WWE Championship on Samoa Joe for a long time when he becomes champion. Surely his reign is going to be interesting.
