#4: Edge and Vickie Guerrero

With Guerrero as SmackDown General Manager, Edge rose to the top, becoming World Heavyweight Champion in the process.

For years Edge was referred to as the Ultimate Opportunist, so when the Canadian saw the opportunity to boost his career with a relationship, he didn't hesitate.

Forming a relationship with SmackDown Live General Manager in 2007, Edge quickly found himself granted favour after favour until he became World Heavyweight Champion.

As if having the GM in his pocket and the World title wasn't enough, Edge would follow up by employing a small army to protect him, including Chavo Guerrero, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder and Bam Neely.

Unfortunately for Edge, his confidence would be his undoing, as he would eventually try and lock Vickie's power as GM forever by marrying her. Everything was going well until Triple H (a man used to WWE weddings) showed up.

Revealing video footage of Edge making out with the wedding planner (the on-screen debut of Alicia Fox), the wedding would end in tragedy and the Canadian would suffer a lot of hurt by his scorned wife.
