The feud leading up to the match was brilliant and raw as Punk used the recent passing of The Undertaker's former manager, Paul Bearer, to get inside The Deadman's head. Punk even dumped the contents of the urn onto the downed body of The Undertaker on the go-home edition of Monday Night RAW.

Because of the intensely personal rivalry, the WWE Universe were just as emotionally attached to the match as The Undertaker and CM Punk were.

The excellent build-up, hype, and anticipation for the match were incredible, and the match itself was tremendous. Punk showed that he was not intimidated by the Deadman by slapping him in the face to kick off the action.

Punk and 'Taker put on a thrilling encounter with drama, passion, and emotion aplenty. The breathtaking spectacle came to an end when The Deadman countered the GTS with a Tombstone for the win.

The Undertaker took to one knee to strike his iconic pose in front of the urn as a fitting gesture for Paul Bearer as fans celebrated another epic WrestleMania victory.
