In the past, there have been some hilarious promo botches. In such instances, WWE stars are forced to backtrack, refocus, and move forward whilst being embarrassed.

There aren't many of these moments that come close to the one with WWE Official Adam Pearce. He managed to botch Drew McIntyre's name as part of a backstage segment on Monday Night RAW at the end of last year.
Pearce referred to the WWE Champion as Drew "McInfart". This forced him to then backtrack and try to cover up the error before he addressed the issue on his Twitter page.
As of this writing, it is still unclear as to whether or not this is a legitimate nickname for the WWE Champion backstage. Pearce may have accidentally said it in that regard, or the WWE Official could have had various other things on his mind at the time.
