#3 Team Cena vs. Team Authority (Survivor Series 2014)
Stakes in Survivor Series elimination matches add so much and make them a lot more meaningful. The top three on this list all feature something on the line. At Survivor Series 2014, John Cena assembled a team to battle The Authority, with a win banishing Triple H's group from WWE.
Team Cena consisted of Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Erick Rowan, and Ryback, while Team Authority was made up of Seth Rollins, Kane, WWE United States Champion Rusev, Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper, and Mark Henry.
Cena's squad would meet its biggest hurdle when Big Show turned heel, which led to the elimination of the Doctor of Thuganomics. The bout would come down to Ziggler facing a three-on-one disadvantage.
Dolph would use his cunning and superior wrestling ability to vanquish Harper and Kane, which left just Seth Rollins for Team Authority. It seemed like Ziggler had the victory sealed, but Triple H came in while the referee was down to hit the Pedigree.
Just when the Game placed Rollins over Dolph, the lights went out. In a shocking turn of events, Sting then made his debut in WWE at Survivor Series 2014.
The Icon confronted the Cerebral Assassin and laid him out with the Scorpion Death Drop. He then pulled Ziggler over Rollins, which led to the three count and a win for Team Cena, to force The Authority to leave WWE.
It was an emotional and suspenseful encounter that gave the fans a triumphant ending and surprise introduction of a legend into the company.
