#2 Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff (Survivor Series 2003)
At Survivor Series 2003, the two General Managers of RAW put together teams to do battle, with the future of the brand in the balance. If Stone Cold's team won, Austin was able to once again physically assault anyone he liked on Monday nights. If Eric Bischoff's team was victorious, Stone Cold would be out as GM.
Team Austin was made up of Shawn Michaels, Booker T, WWE Intercontinental Champion Rob Van Dam, and WWE World Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boys.
Team Bischoff consisted of Chris Jericho, Christian, Mark Henry, Scott Steiner, and Randy Orton. It was a fabulous Survivor Series elimination battle which featured a spectacular performance from the Showstopper.
With the numbers disadvantage and wearing a crimson mask, Michaels put in an outstanding effort to help his former rival Stone Cold Steve Austin keep his job.
The Heartbreak Kid was able to even things up by leaving just Randy Orton on the opposing side. However, with the assistance of Batista, Orton was able to pull out the victory and win for Team Bischoff.
The post-match scenes. brought a passionate farewell for Austin. His team's loss and emotional embrace with Michaels was deeply deflating for the Dallas crowd. However, those fans had been thoroughly entertained for over 27 minutes with a stunning Survivor Series elimination match.
