As far as the Women’s Royal Rumble match is concerned, only four women thus far have declared for the high-stakes match-up. That leaves us to these five superstars who’ve already announced to enter the WWE Men's Royal Rumble match:
#5. Cody Rhodes is a former Men's Royal Rumble winner
Cody Rhodes won the 2023 Men’s Rumble match. He headlined WrestleMania 39 against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
The 38-year-old star declared for the Royal Rumble on the November 27, 2023, episode of Monday Night RAW. Rhodes was attacked by Shinsuke Nakamura soon after the big announcement. He defeated the King of Strong Style in a Street Fight last week on RAW.
#4. CM Punk's last Rumble appearance came in 2014
CM Punk’s last Royal Rumble appearance came in 2014. The Straight Edge Superstar entered at number one and lasted over an hour. However, Corporate Kane eliminated him, shattering his hopes of headlining WrestleMania.
Punk declared for the 2024 WWE Men's Royal Rumble match on December 11, 2023, the same night he announced his move to Monday Night RAW. The Second City Saint also dropped a major tease for a blockbuster match against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40.
#3. Shinsuke Nakamura is no stranger to the high-stakes match-up
Shinsuke Nakamura won the 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble match. The King of Strong Style chose AJ Styles as his opponent for WrestleMania. However, the match never met fan expectations, and both men soon went their separate ways.
Nakamura was announced as the third man in the WWE Men's Royal Rumble match on WWE 2024 Preview Special. The former Intercontinental Champion finished his feud with Cody Rhodes on the January 8, 2024, episode of RAW.
#2. Bobby Lashley had a dominant performance at the Rumble
Bobby Lashley made a big move at the 2023 Royal Rumble. The All Mighty took out a bunch of superstars with his power moves. He then eliminated Brock Lesnar from the match-up, causing The Beast Incarnate to throw a temper tantrum outside the ring.
Lashley declared for the 2024 Royal Rumble on SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution on January 5. The former WWE Champion said he wanted to start fresh this year. Karrion Kross and Authors of Pain attacked him and The Street Profits.
#1. Drew McIntyre wants to become a two-time WWE Men's Royal Rumble match winner
Drew McIntyre got a huge pop when he eliminated Roman Reigns to win the 2020 Royal Rumble. Unfortunately, the world would be shut down due to the coronavirus in February. McIntyre had no choice but to win his first world title without a live crowd.
The Scottish Warrior announced his decision to enter the WWE Men's Royal Rumble match on the January 8 episode of RAW. McIntyre went back and forth with CM Punk on the mic. The Straight Edge Superstar said he’d save McIntyre for last in the Rumble and eliminate him to win it all.
