5 new records set at WrestleMania 33

#3 5 consecutive nights sold out at The Citrus Bowl and The Amway Centre

This year’s Takeover was held at The Amway Centre

This was one of the busiest WrestleMania weeks as the WWE sold out The Amway Centre and The Citrus Bowl for an unprecedented 5 consecutive nights for all of their events. The 2017 Hall of Fame and NXT Takeover: Orlando kicked things off at the smaller venue followed by WrestleMania 33 at The Citrus Bowl.

Then the company returned to The Amway Centre for back to back nights of Monday Night Raw and SmackDown LIVE. All 5 events were sold out completely, and this was the first time in the company’s history that the WWE planned such an ambitious WrestleMania week.

These signs are certainly encouraging, and the McMahons will be looking to build on that in the year up ahead to WrestleMania 34.
